I Do

For A Lifetime

By Angel AdagioPublished about a month ago 1 min read

Every morning, noon and night

for what seems like eons

I have waited patiently for someone to call my own.

When you arrived I wanted to shout it out,

show the world my joy

be the happy version of me I always wanted to be,

but tender is our love

we are silent.

One symbol

turning everything to something new

one that I have waited for.

The moments were captured between us by the ghosts,

our burning passion could warm an entire town

A forbidden love story

one that can never be known

until we opened our book for others to read.

How lucky are we to be part of the club

truest of love matches

and still the best kept secret.

At least, that is what I have dreamt of

a reality just like that.
