I Confess

Stories for my Mom

By NJPublished 7 months ago β€’ 1 min read
Top Story - March 2024

Where do I begin, but with an apology if I was not the daughter you had hoped for or wanted me to be.

Then you sent a birthday card.

Daughter

It's easy to be proud of who you are -

Beautiful,

Capable,

Smart,

and Caring.

You've got so much going for you.

Thanking God for you and love you so much.

So I withdraw that apology as you accept me with endless trusting love and compassion that makes you a saint.

And how do I confess my sins to a saint?

It seems I can.

And how can someone have a saint as a mom?

I do.
