How

poem on hurt

By Noah HagedornPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I don't know how this could have happened

I care so much about you, and yet there is nothing I can do

My heart breaks and yearns to be with you right now

But you're so far away.

Never did I think this would happen to you

The horrors of the world seemed so far away

Until they came home to roost.

The world is a cruel dark place

The people in it are even more so.

How dare they do this to do

How dare they hurt you like they did.

You are worth so much more

Your life has value and meaning beyond imagination.

I am never giving up on you

as long as I live

I will be here.
