HERE WE TELL NO TALES

Heaviness

By Will Shimnom SimonPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In this land of silent woe,

Where secrets hide and shadows grow,

We walk with heavy hearts and frail,

For here we tell no tales.

The stories of our love and loss,

Are buried deep beneath the moss,

Our voices hushed by sorrow’s veil,

For here we tell no tales.

The memories of joy and pain,

Are locked away like drops of rain,

In this land where hope derails,

For here we tell no tales.

But though our lips may not impart,

The stories etched upon our heart,

Our eyes reveal what words conceal,

For here we tell no tales.

And as we journey through this night,

With weary steps and fading light,

We hold our secrets close and pale,

For here we tell no tales.
