Heat descends like a fervent sigh,

Beneath the blaze of a relentless sky.

The sun, a torch in the heavens high,

Paints the earth with a fiery dye.

Air shimmers in a golden haze,

Mirages dance in the midday blaze.

Fields of amber, forests still,

Caught in the grip of summer's thrill.

Sweat beads on brow, skin aglow,

As rivers of warmth in torrents flow.

Shade becomes a cherished friend,

In the realm where the sun’s rays bend.

Cicadas sing their fervent tune,

A chorus beneath the sultry moon.

The earth, it breathes a languid sigh,

Underneath the watchful, starlit sky.

In the city’s heart, the asphalt gleams,

Capturing sunlight in molten streams.

Concrete jungles, metal spires,

Echo the fervor of the sun’s desires.

Yet in this heat, life finds its way,

In blossoms bright and children’s play.
