Anger and rage consume me.
Like fire and flame
The heat licks my skin.
Pain controls me.
I push you away,
Tired of you trying to steamroll me.
.
Jealousy and envy
Unsettlingly confuse me
My god! How you’ve lied,
Perused and abused me.
Swore you were terrified to lose me.
.
Poof!
Your worst fear became a reality
Yet you were responsible, directly.
Played me, viciously betrayed me.
So deviously portrayed me.
.
Did you think I would never know?
That you’d always get away with it all?
You played fast and loose.
Completely careless.
.
Acting like a clueless caboose.
You nearly signed my death sentence
While portraying me as the designer of your noose.
Yet you fashioned that all by yourself.
.
Living in a putridly poisonous soul
Not caring that your habits were beyond even your control.
You’re no longer capable of stopping.
Instead, you only care about digging yourself out of that hole.
.
It doesn’t phase you in the least,
Does it?
Your only agenda is roping
Another hapless victim.
Prey to your predatory ways.
.
Why…?
That’s the question that haunts me still
Why?
Nothing is ever enough.
No one is ever enough
Because you’ll never be enough.
.
So miserable in your own skin
So you’ve chosen an existence filled with deceitful sin.
Leaving your victims wishing we could permanently erase the contact from our skin.
.
No heart exists in your chest cavity.
Knock, knock, knock.
Like the man in Oz,
My raps echo back like I’m tapping on tin.
How can you exist with all that toxicity within?
.
Doesn’t it hurt?
Is it that pain that drives you?
Does it cause you to hurt everyone who regrettably loves you?
Sadly, there’s no wizard who could ever repair you.
. . .
