Heartbeat of Compassion

I listen to the heartbeat of compassion living inside me like the sea

Rising in tides to flood the world with gentle tears of love

For all beings living with their hopes and fears

This song is my prayer and offering.

How many thousands of years

Have we lived with complete uncertainty?

Now the whole of humanity is in the crucible of alchemy

And we can only stand alone and unified in the fire of transformation.

Purification means letting go of absolutely everything that is not essential

Until all that remains is the translucent beauty of true nature

Shimmering with the radiance of our pure presence,

Infinite, eternal and shining with divinity.

Stand on the earth and open to the sky

Allowing the totality to flow through you like music

That we hear and feel from the universe so strong and brilliant

All we can do is open to this wave of wonder and surrender to the dance.
