God, spare me

"I'm in tears"

I am seeing stuff.

Either good or awful.

Is it because I'm sick in bed?

I'm in the dark.

Sometimes I feel quite cold.

Sometimes I feel lost.

in an undisclosed location.

Fire blazing at a distance.

People are talking.

Kids are playing.

A wonderful place,

It looks like home.

But I am sad.

I'm in tears.

But you cannot see them.

My heart cries.

But my soul tries to be at peace.

With what I don't know.

My flesh appears to be migrating away from me.

Pains throughout my body persist.

When will this end?

Is death approaching me?

God, spare me.

I still have the best plans on Earth.

The raw honesty in your words paints a vivid picture of the inner turmoil many of us face but often struggle to articulate. Your ability to convey such deep emotions with clarity and poignancy is truly remarkable. Thank you for sharing this powerful piece. It serves as a reminder that in our moments of darkness, we are not alone, and there is a shared human experience that connects us all. Looking forward to reading more of your work. Best regards, Dr. Jay
