Glass Voices

A-Z

By Katrina ThornleyPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

An angel to behold

Beauty in simplicity of movement

Compels hearts to fall aflutter,

Docile and domestic creature

Everything but no one-

For Heaven's Sake

Give him a smile girl!

Happiness does the body good

If only saved for him-

Join his antics with ease

Kiss his feet,

Love his bitter edges unconditionally

Maybe he'll return the favor-

Never question the ideals

Outbursts are frowned upon

Praise his every move

Quiet your voice and spirit,

Raise him high

Servitude is your only goal-

Temptation is not yours

Unheard of desires in woman!

Voices break upon glass ceiling

Womankind must bend-

Xeno loves the only hope ahead

Your expectations be dashed!

Zestful future no more only maid's work.

Never let him see or know the truth--he's not in control & you are not his possession.
