Erase Me From Life?

That Is Something You Can Not Do.

You beat me, emotionally abused me,

Tore my life apart, took everyone I loved away,

Left me on the streets, kicked me into the shadows,

And treated me like I was trash.

You spun your lies, made me out to be crazy,

Told everyone I was lazy;

You even told my husband I wasn't worthy,

You abandoned our kids like they were dirty.

But I have something to say,

I only wish that I could have said it years ago.

You can continue with your foul tongue,

Trash me with your cheap lies,

But don't you dare think that,

I will give up, wither, and die.

You can say what you want,

Just remember, I'm not listening to you;

You're going to try to erase me from life?

Well, that is something you can not do.
