In the face of doubt, when shadows loom,

When dreams seem distant, and hope finds no room,

Embrace the spirit, fierce and bold,

For in your heart, a fire to behold.

Do it any way, though fears may reside,

Let courage be your steadfast guide,

When critics sneer and doubts arise,

Look deep within, where passion lies.

When storm clouds gather, obscuring the light,

Remember, dear soul, your inner might,

For in the darkest hour, strength is found,

To rise above, with resilience unbound.

Let your spirit soar, leave no trace,

Of limitations imposed by the world,

Your dreams, like banners, proudly unfurled.

In a world of voices, each with their claim,

Stay true to yourself, and trust your own aim,

For the path you tread is yours alone,

Let not the whispers divert or disown.

Let determination be your battle call,

For greatness lies not in success alone,

But in the journey, where seeds are sown.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind,

people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,

you will win some false friends and some true enemies.

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,

people may cheat you.

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building,

someone could destroy overnight.

Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,

they may be jealous.

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,

people will often forget tomorrow.

Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,

and it may never be enough.

Give the best you've got anyway.

You see,

in the final analysis it is between you and God;

it was never between you and them anyway.

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.

Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.

Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down

by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.

Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.

Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.

Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.

Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
