What is the distance between you and me?

Is it beliefs, an island or the sea,

Distance is what we create through the passage of experiences, emotions or transparency, or not as the case maybe.

Distance can be what we want it to be or a journey we call A to B,

for our birth is our beginning our end unknown, they'll be trials and tribulations along the way that's known

Distance can be the difference between right or wrong, with deep seated emotions which grow strong, as relevance is the key to situational ideology, who decides if there's a need for apology?

Distance may be the difference between safe and harm, the smallest of margins determine the weak and strong

Distance of our ever increasingly complex existence grows, as our search for answers in what life throws,

as technology directs our future into the unknown, our views attempted to be blinkered by power and influence of the ones in control

What is distance? It's there for all to see, it’s our interpretations of everything we see!
