Disorder Taking Over

Not a feeling you'd want to get used to.

By Amelia DavisPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

To be so happy yet

In so much pain.

.

I'm smiling, thinking positively

Then smacked with nausea.

Tears start to fall while

My thoughts run wild.

.

Slowly but steadily,

I feel myself breaking

Into pieces

So small,

So fragile.

.

Anxiety flowing through

Every inch of every bone,

Losing grip of serenity,

Of sanity,

Of oneself.

.

The calming voices fade away,

A mind turns into complete chaos

Of worry,

Of dread.

.

Emotions begin pouring out

Controlling all thoughts and actions,

Manipulating every aspect of life.

.

I'm scared to see what's to come.

.

After all these years

Battling, struggling to remain positive

While experiencing apprehension,

Still learning all the

Torments anxiety does to one.
