Dear introverted overthinker

An open letter to all the introverts

Dear introverted overthinker

Minds are the most powerful creations of the almighty, that have made humans grow and evolve into the enormous and mighty figures on earth.

Humans are the rulers of the earth in mortality. In this world, where everyone loves to socialize and have a large group of friends,

This is a letter to my introverted overthinkers, the ones who stay up all night reading a book and cry just when their favorite character dies.

We are the ones who hide under the shadows of silence and masks of normalcy.

The ones whose minds speak a lot and their lips remained pursed.

The ones who try to fit in the world full of energetic and talkative ones. We are the anecdotes of our stories and they are entire tales of wonder and awe.

If we ever try to socialize, the menus are our novels and the food items are our characters.

Food and our hunger – an eternal love story.

Overthinking and our minds are like two fine threads woven together that cannot be separated.

We talk to our special ones and more often we bleed our thoughts on paper.

In a world full of ecstasies, we paint our tales in our minds.

Painting whims and fantasies,

With the brush of our imagination

Into the depths of our mind,’

Our realities we find.

Honestly, we try our best to talk to people, but sometimes it does get difficult to break our shell

And our minds are like a fireball of hyperactivity that runs at a speed of 1oo km/hr to fetch problems that are nonexistent yet forge our entire existence.

So to all the introverted overthinkers out there

I see you and I hope the next time you slide under the blanket with your coffee and your favorite book, this post reminds you that you do not need to fit in.

In a world full of wildflowers, have pride in being a wallflower.

I see you,

Love,

Me.
