Dancing . . . Thoughts
A poem of thoughts in increments
Her thoughts, “His eyes . . . not blinking, almost staring.”
He thinks, “She’s . . . younger.”
“Should I return . . . glances.”
“ . . . attractive smile.”
“ . . .tight grasp . . .eyes piercing . . .”
“Light on her feet . . . radiant.”
“It’s ending.”
“ . . . ending.”
“ . . . quiet. . . eyes speak. . . “
“Friendly smile.”
“My table . . . his . . . ?”
“Hers? . . . mine?”
“A lady doesn’t . . . ”
“She’s a lady.”
“ . . . glances. . .”
“Inviting smile . . . maybe . . .”
“He’s looking . . . away.”
“Tense . . . nervous.”
“Thanks.”
“Thank You.”
“Those eyes . . .”
“That smile . . .”
