Can I Tempt You?

I understand you want days to yourself, but

I also remember what you said to me last night as well

You're "missing me"

That I can already tell

Do you actually know I'm going through fresh hell?

Why wont you let us be what we could've been?

What I know we should've been

Waiting, the slate is all wiped clean

Can I tempt you with could've been?

I run around when clearly time has run out

I still remember how you taught me to live in the now

You're "missing me"

That's never in doubt

Come back to me, this is not our final bow

Why wont you let us be what we could've been?

What I know we should've been

Waiting, the slate is all wiped clean

Can I tempt you with could've been?
