climbing the ladder

Expectations lining up outside the door with no one there to greet them.

Curses muttered; pain between my shoulder blades, sore and tired from hunching over the keyboard.

Launched into a full-blown panic attack, induced by chain emails and

Informational briefings on why the client knows best and why the company pays less.

Personal days and paid time off doesn't really exist.

Suffer in silence because speaking up gets you sacked.

Eternally enticed by the carrot on the stick held over your head.

Absolutely right! Excellently described and emotional, as always!

My favorite line is of speaking up which will get you sacked. It is not only in corporate, it is everywhere, even here. Maybe not sacked, but shunned etc. Can we all be bosses, yet even bosses get into trouble as well. We have choices to make...

Been there and done that so many times. Glad I'm retired, sort of.
