Con Glamour Rat

The House Mouse

By Tony BacaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Concrete and steel

proclaimed as a park

Amusement for all ages

From light until dark

.

A man and his dream

Now frozen in time

As investors rejoice

And sip the fine wine

.

A rodent some say

Perhaps this is true

With oversized ears

And shiny black shoes

.

His thirst for all power

Creates a pure chill

As they roam the attractions

In search of a thrill

.

A fantasy lured

Fed to the masses

Despite your religion

And all social classes

.

Global domination

The ultimate goal

A lucrative venture

In search of your soul

.

Propaganda is hidden

Dispersed through the net

As soldiers are groomed

Without no regret

.

A Princess or King

Can steal your young heart

As you twirl around

In a glistening cart

.

The evil regime

Of coy fury friends

Together forever

With vermin descend

.

Upon the offspring

Who worship his way

With family and friends

In the park they shall play

Nothing personal against Mickey, it’s more of a reflection of corporate greed and their lust to succeed at all cost.
