They thought something was wrong,

But no nobody spoke up.

They saw the red flags,

But nobody spoke up.

They witnessed his mindset through social media,

But nobody spoke up.

The teachers e-mailed,

But nobody spoke up.

They joked that he would be the one to go on a shooting spree

But nobody spoke up.

They avoided him because they thought he might be trouble,

But nobody spoke up.

Now there are 17 more dead for a total of 89 since Columbine who can't speak up,

But nobody is speaking up.
