Brother, not a Brother!

A tribute to my legendary friend in poetry

We got to know each other,

only a few years ago..

but thereafter?

Our talks oscillated over centuries to and fro!

Then we had to take two different avenues,

on the same plane though!

I feel a real miss,

when I see there's no one to replace you,

at least the calls will link us..

We wrote together,

played together,

planned together,

laughed together,

as we both always repeat,

nothing lasts forever,

but the echo of what we did,

will for sure...

though you are not at least,

a relative of mine,

when you hang by me,

it felt like my own brother,

probably in a previous life,

in this massive cycle, it could be!

So my best friend in poetry,

Esala(August)!

I strongly miss you, brother!

But still the hope "We'll see each other in a better place" ignites,

in my mind.

Before ending this,

I need to say,

you were there with me,

not only in the comfort zone,

but also in the most awkward zones as well,

that's how you became an outstanding best friend,

that I never hesitate to tell anything.

So brother, here are my blessings to,

Write more!

Heal more!

Enjoy more!
