Hot drip wet my brow.

Is that a raindrop of sweat?

Gravel's in my shoe.

Chilly, is the wind.

Hot out of the frying pan.

Smoked, smothered, soggy.

A bed of thorns hurt.

A bed of water is wet.

A bed of hot heat.

Inhale exhale, breathe.

The fire that burns fuels me.

Grounding puts me out.
