Birth

When two lives begin

By Ruthie M.Published about a year ago 1 min read

Birth

It began when I told you

A baby is near

Your face

Your fear

You left

So I gestated alone

Waiting and wishing

For my love

To appear

Then one day

Pain,

screams

Push

Blood

The tears

You were there

But so was she

She became my life

My air

I had been waiting for

My one true love

And then

She was there

There were two

Births that day
