Beneath the weeping willow's somber boughs,
A melancholy tale, the heart allows,
In shadows cast by the moon's soft glow,
A whispered sorrow begins to grow.
A symphony of raindrops on my window pane,
Each echoing the echoes of my pain,
In the silence of a tear-stained night,
Lonely echoes of our lost delight.
Fading echoes of a once-vibrant song,
A love unraveling, a bond now gone,
In the gallery of memories, I stand alone,
Tracing the fragments of a love overthrown.
The winds of change, a bitter, biting chill,
Through the gaps in time, our love spills,
A portrait of us, now draped in gray,
As the colors of joy slowly decay.
Gone are the days of laughter and sun,
A heartache's shadow, where once we'd run,
In the tapestry of dreams, a thread unravels,
Leaving behind a story that time dishevels.
Yet, within the echoes of this mournful rhyme,
Lingers the beauty of love, frozen in time,
For even in sadness, a tender grace,
A love remembered, in the heart's embrace.
