Beautifully Rare

Poetry

By Jodi BerkleyPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

A rose in a field of thorns,

A pearl in a bed of rocks,

A diamond in a pile of coal,

Something beautifully rare.

A snowflake in a sea of rain,

A rainbow in a sky of gray,

A shooting star in the night,

Something beautifully rare.

A voice that sings like a bird,

A touch that soothes like a balm,

A smile that warms like the sun,

Something beautifully rare.

A heart that beats with true love,

A mind that thinks with pure grace,

A soul that shines with inner light,

Something beautifully rare.

In this world of chaos and noise,

Where beauty is often obscured,

It's these moments of rare perfection,

That make life worth living and enduring.

So let us treasure and hold dear,

These precious gifts that life bestows,

For they are what makes life worth living,

And they are the things that make us whole.
