When I look at you now,

It causes grief in my heart.

I have a hunch you're not fine.

I can see that your life has altered.

When you smile.

Do you honestly mean that?

I notice you're laughing.

Are you really laughing?

Life has changed you.

Into someone different.

Life has taken the true you away.

Life has captured your mind.

You overthink things.

You're always afraid.

You’re always

Between melancholy and delight.

I think you are depressed.

I believe you need guidance.

Talk to me; I'm here for you.

Feel free, and open your heart.

Do not keep anything to yourself.

The lines...Talk to me; I'm here for you. Feel free, and open your heart..... a feeling of compassion arises in my heart...

  • It's always better to talk about things rather than keeping it to ourselves. Loved your poem!
