the light found in darkness

By S.K. WilsonPublished 3 months ago 1 min read
sometimes all that is needed is a pause in the cycle

Ever spinning celestial bodies look down on us from above

Curating our precious numbered days and sleepless nights

Life too short to waste on performing for the sake of others

Indeed, you agree with those saying ‘this event marks the end’

Pretended not to exist, like sunlight covered by the brief dark

Selene, the moon passes on. Helios is free; warmth, life returns

Eclipses, as the untrue you, must soon pass to reveal the light.
