The space between nightmares and dreams,

the trickster King of Between

drew me away from my dreams.

His motivation

an end to his questionable means.

The space between nightmares and dreams.

Thrice I declined the invitation.

I saw through his deceptive routines.

Drew me away from my dreams.

Trickster King explains for my education

nothing is simple as seems

In the space between nightmares and dreams,

To avoid destruction for every nation.

I must remain inside the seams.

To bridge the gap between worlds,

I must become Alice, Queen of Between.
