A Writer's Strategy

Gaining Attention

A Writer's Strategy

When crafting words upon a page,

The writer seeks to be the sage,

To capture truth and light and shade,

And leave an impact that won't fade.

But in a world where content reigns,

And noise and chatter oft distrains,

It's not enough to write with care,

To hope that someone will be there.

For eyes are drawn to what's new,

And if it's shared, then it's in view,

So why not draft, and draft again,

And then release them, all at once, to win?

For when the words are all in flight,

And readers come, like moths to light,

The impact is not just a spark,

But a blaze that leaves a lasting mark.

And so the writer, with pen in hand,

Creates and crafts, with a master's plan,

And shares their words, one by one,

Until the time is right for a bigger run.

Then with a flourish and a flair,

They release their words, and people stare,

For the impact of a hundred drafts,

Is like a symphony, where nothing's left to chance.

And so the lesson here is clear,

To create with care, and without fear,

To craft and draft, and post with grace,

Until the moment's right, to share the race.
