A Real Poem
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty" - John Keats

Those purple mountains,
majestic in the distance --
actually, clouds.
~
Cottony tree tops,
wispy and white as lamb's wool --
up close, a hard frost.
~
Light glints on the sea
like sparks; light pools on scorched sand
like sparkling water.
~
True substance depends
on whether you are mountain
climber, or poet.

About the Creator
Sonia Heidi Unruh
I love: my husband and children; all who claim me as family or friend; the first bite of chocolate; the last blue before sunset; solving puzzles; stroking cats; finding myself by writing; losing myself in reading; the Creator who is love.
