There was a time when I was wild
Exploring the Emerald Isle
When I landed
I was candid
Seeing an opportunity
A figure ever so beauty
Belonging to someone
Who seemed joyful and fun
There she was
Creating such a buzz
Advertising wanting buys
Putting up with many suitable lies
Having powerful green eyes
Making everyone let out emotional sighs
And then there was the Irish golden hair
Swirling enchanting flair
Potting a rainbow tempting dare
Nothing could compare
Should I dare?
To go over there
And suggest ‘let us have an affair’
When the take five came
I invaded this scene setting fame
Only to share
A proposal that I wanted to declare
Am I being fair?
And that is when
I said Barbie I am Ken
She looked at me
Giving a third degree
Asking “who is he?”
Suddenly, magic happened
Cupid arrived to do some zapping
Arrow found its target
Making us both off the market
On that day
I must say
It felt right
This love at first sight
That I now write
Before turning off the romantic light
And saying good night
To my wife
Who I am committed to for life
