A Last Eclipse

Early risers fell asleep faster, at midnight that's when the
Crimson-celestial silvered moon dressed in blood arrived above the
Lands of mines and bombs, soaring over the tombs of unnamed bodies.
I couldn't unsee what I saw amidst the brightest stars in the holy space,
Pre-COVID, before the Fall, neither in sheer beauty nor in the ugly hearts,
Silently the moon danced with blood-stained eyes, and it saw us seeing an
Eclipse phase for humans on Earth, total veiling in darkness for itself.
