A day in the Park - Part 1 and 2

cool breeze brushing against my shoulders

By Tracy ToccaraPublished 3 years ago Updated 10 days ago 1 min read

A cool breeze whispers, brushing shoulders light,

Conversations flow, as day turns to night.

Rocks and rolling waves, a symphony so grand,

Autumn leaves dance away, by the gentle hand.

Emerald ducks glide, in shades of green and brown,

White peaks on rocks, a majestic crown.

The sun's reflection cascades, almost blinding bright,

But oh so beautiful, a quick glance ignites.

Tree branches hoover, casting shadows so deep,

Creating the perfect shade, where secrets keep.

Moss-covered rocks, deep green evergreen,

A rusty birdhouse stands, silent and serene.

A broken fence landscapes, little trunks stand tall,

Burnt red and orange peep through clouds that sprawl.

Water dips and swirls, a kayak waits its turn,

Ready for takeoff, where waterfalls churn.

A day in the park, nature's own retreat,

Where every moment's beauty is bittersweet.
