3D Subway

Someone gets stabbed on a subway

It's 3D and you can tell because of the colors,

Not the ripping sensation jaggedly cutting

Across my midsection as some sweet nobody

Cracks on the subway and spills out the ooey gooey

Sins bubbling and boiling in my chest.

.

You can tell it's 3D

Just by the sound it.

What's dripping onto the train floor isn't water.

It's something thicker, something warm.

Blood.

.

Ah, but it's 2D now, isn't it?

Everything is pressed and flat and something

Deep in my chest feels like it's melting into the floor

Like watercolors out in the rain.

But this red and blue world can only be 3D.

Holy cow, 3D fading to 2D with the injured. Vivid!

Oh damn!! That was incredibly visceral and cutting. It felt angry and pissed off but sad too. Excellent work :)

This is as jagged and dangerous as the scenario it represents. Kudos!
