When I wake up, I stretch and yawn and show my sharp teeth.

Even though my bladder is about to burst, I am wagging my tail. Left, right, left right. Yay!

I would not dare to pee in my parents bed. They would be very mad!

I love them so much that’s why we have cuddles every morning, yay! I can’t get enough!

I find it funny when they pull ugly faces, especially when I stroke them with my tongue over their face. When I try to stroke them with my paws, they don’t seem to like that either. Believe me, I tried!

I just try to return the favour, you know!

As soon as I lick everyone awake, I run my morning rounds. Round and round the bed, down the stairs, whoops don’t forget to grab a toy, back upstairs, jump on the bed and give the toy to mommy or daddy, as close to the face as possible, oh yes! Otherwise they don’t see it.

Hello? Are you still sleeping? I am not sure. I see they have these weird rectangle toys in front of their faces.

I’m going to lick daddies ears! He is always giggling so much when I do that. I think he likes it. And I like licking ears!

Finally mommy gets up. I am waiting on top of the stairs for her. She says “one minute” and looks at the rectangle toy.

Then she pours water all over herself. It’s not like swimming, so I don’t understand why she is doing that, but it looks like she likes playing with water.

I like playing with water too! I hope we go swimming today.

Mommy finishes playing with the water and puts on her coat. Not as shiny as mine of course! Oh my god, I think I am going to burst. But I don’t dare to! The pee-poo walk is due now. I scratch the door. NOW mommy. I need to go NOW, please.

She says “Okay okay, I’m coming I’m coming.” It is wee wee time yay! Wee wee can only happen outside, and so does poo poo. I learned that and I am very serious about it.

She grabs the arm extender and plastic bag.

I am so excited now I am jumping up and down, because I KNOW after that, its breakfast time.

When I finished my breakie. I am asking for more. But they never give me more. So I am looking everywhere in case I missed something. Behind the pillow? Underneath the couch? In the bathroom? In daddies pockets?

Mommy says “ One hour, we have to wait one hour before we go to the park”

Park? Did I hear park? Yay! I love the park. All my friends are there.

I look at mommy while she is eating from her food bowl. Maybe if I look cute enough I could get some too.

Finally, after many doge lives, mommy grabs the arm extender and a nother plastic bag again.

We are going to the park yay! I cant wait to get there. She is walking so slowly. I try to be there before... well I don’t really know before who or what..., but I am trying hard to be fast. Mommy is always so annoyed on the walk there. She says things like “Heel” ore “Stop pulling man”.

I am trying to ignore here. I know she wants me to walk nicely, but it is soooo slow. I just need to get there first, you see!

One day, right before the entrance, my bum was hit by the four wheeled monsters. I hate them. They are so loud and so much faster than me and everyone was so worried when it hit my bum. I was only trying to find mommy. I thought I lost her. That was many dog years ago.

We play ball chase at the park. Mommy picks it up on a blue stick and throws it really really far.

I can run as fast as the wind, she says. She always smiles when I jump and headbutt the ball.

Sometimes I play with my friends. But some of them are boring. They cannot run as fast as I can.

Sadly we have to walk back now. It is the worst time of the day. I feel tired and now I am really walking as slow as mommy.

I feel very sad because I know, that mommy and daddy will leave me for another few dog years now.

When we reach home I drink a lot of water. Hopefully I don’t have to pee later. I look how Mommy and Daddy put on their coats, not as shiny as mine of course.

Both are standing at the door and keep patting my head. I sit there quietly. They are going to leave me now. I try to go with them, try to squeeze past them in the garden so they have to catch me or take me with them. But they know all my tricks by now. I think I have to work on a new strategy!

I put my ears very flat and open my eyes as far as possible, so I look very cute and sad. Maybe they feel sorry for me now. I wince a little but no reaction from Mommy and Daddy.

“Bye bye Sadie! Bye Bye!”

Don’t bye bye me! Bye Bye means gone for at least 2 dog years.

I look out of the window, not sure what to do next. Are they coming back? WHEN are they coming back? Sigh…. Okay I need to work on strategies how to prevent this in future – OH a Fly! I’ll catch you!

I am jumping up and down try to catch the fly. I notice something on the kitchen counter…What is that? It is a box with sticks in them. White sticks and on one end of the white sticks is some fluffy stuff. A memory comes to my mind “Sadie got the cotton buds again”

Sadie is me, so that must be the cotton buds then. I don’t think I am supposed to have them, but I don’t mind.

I get on my back legs, reaching with my front paws on top of the counter trying to grab the box. Finally after endless dog years the box lands on the floor and opens.

Yay, so many cotton buds to chew!

I am bored now. I am sniffing for noisy squeaky balls I can chew!

Hold on…who is that on the door??? WHO THE HECK IS AT THE DOOR???! Go away! GO away! You are not Mommy or Daddy, I can smell you are different!! Woof! Woof!

The little window at the door opens and through comes no human but paper! I am excited, more to chew for me, treaty wonderland!

That reminds me of a softer and better paper. Where is that again? BATHROOM. They use it to wipe their bums I think! It is okay, they can use mine, when its finished.

It pick it up and throw it down the stairs. It opens and leaves white stuff everywhere. I shake it with my head, this thing wants to fight me I think!

I am tired now, it is nap time. I curl up on my bed. I share my bed with mommy and daddy. We always look at a huge rectangular box. The box shows pictures inside, which move in every different direction like they want to play. It confuses me. One day, another one of my species jumped from one end to the other of the rectangular box. I tried to follow but it was gone! Like doggie magic. Maybe it was a dogician.

It is dark when I wake up. I hear something outside again, but I cant be bothered. I am hungry now so I sniff for food. There is soft white paper, hard white paper and cotton buds everywhere.

The food is kept behind a closed door. It squeaks when they open it. Then I know its food time. I love food. I wish I could open Mommys and Daddys special box. It is very much different because when they open it, cold air comes out. Very strange! But so many nice things in there. One day, they left it open and I licked all the pots with Jam and sauces. I don’t think they noticed….

Oh my wuff! I think it is my lucky day. The food door is open. Not THEIR food door, but MY food door. Which is fine.

I bury my head deep inside the bag. It is so yummy. I eat until I feel like my skin is stretching and then I eat some more. My head jerked up when I hear a noise outside. The food bag falls on the floor and all my food scatters around. Quickly! ERASE THE EVIDENCE.

Oh my god they are home! It is them! It is their car! Wooohoooo Mommy and Daddy are home. I am very happy but also scared now, looking at all the mess.

The door opens. I jump up and down the door! So happy to see them, so glad the many many dog years have passed” My tail is wagging. My bum is wagging too! Yay!!

“Down Sadie” I hear Daddys voice. I sit down, my expectations are very high now. I expect a proper greeting. When I am good, I get a proper greeting right?

“Hello girl” Mommy says! “Hi baby”. Waaaaaaah I am so happy to see you Mommy? How have you been? She gives me licks all over the head. “Mmmmwaaah “ She says. “I missed you”

Mommy I missed you too. Wait until you see the mess.

Mommy and Daddy, both look up and see the mess. They stop smiling for a minute. “Oh no Sadie! What have you done? “

I put my head between my paws and look up with my huge puppy eyes. I am sorry, I am so sorry! Maybe when I look cute and innocent enough, they will forgive me.

Anyway, it is play time! Where are the toys!
