Inner and Outer Peace

Is Outer peace same as loneliness

By Varnika AgarwalPublished about a month ago 5 min read

Holaa readers, Welcome and Welcome back^_^

After all the hustle-bustle of life, you had to go through, let’s ponder over some inner peace today….You have a bonus if you can keep up to the end, ah ah, don’t just scroll down without reading+_+

Here we go

So we all have our goals and dreams in life for which we are living, right? These dreams give us hope for a better future. Everyone has different goals and purposes in their lives, but there is one, fundamental and ultimate, "Inner peace".

Inner peace is not merely the calmness of the mind. It is the connection of your mind with your Soul, a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace. It is a transition of mind from the unstable ocean of thought towards a complete vacuum. One should be clear that being Free from anxiety and stress is only a sign of a mentally sound body whereas inner peace requires something else as well, i.e. being free from ill thoughts, anger, greed, desire, lust, and jealousy.

Let’s just call it a day, take a break from boring chores at least for a little while, relax, and make yourself realize your presence in this world. Laugh, play with children, walk and talk to nature, and express yourself at least before you. Oh so you were running late, and there is a senseless traffic jam? Let’s just shake it off, your horn is not going to do anything well as everyone is stuck, but isn’t it a good time to vibe on your favorite song sitting in your car? Give a smile to a bad situation today, Oh so what can a mere smile do in this damn sucking life? Trust me once it is done with mindfulness, it does MAGIC✨

Spirituality exists because of inner peace. When we connect our minds with the infinite depth of this cosmos we acquire an emptiness in our mind, which is Inner tranquility. Happiness is the outcome of this sanity, and religious texts say that it is the best method for purifying ourselves. This is why it has to be the fundamental goal of life. Any other dream or goal can give us momentary happiness but this can give us ‘eternal sunshine’ and is the only common thing in all religions across the world. Religion teaches us about love and faith which work as the fuel for this.

Okay now

Outer peace

Wait, do you call it Loneliness?

Loneliness or opportunity? Time to find out

Let me ask you a favor….

Stop where you are, don't do anything, just close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Now imagine you are floating in space, you do not feel any force, complete darkness with the reverbed sound of the universe, the warmth of eternity, it is only you, the lonely you. It is so relaxing out there free from all the agony, feels like deep meditation in deep space, how relaxing.

As you are human you start feeling lonely by leaving your body out there in empty space and eventually you will try to seek someone but this will bring your soul to the fast-moving, greedy, polluted, and noisy but real world of chaos to find someone, ugh how disturbing.

Again you run away from this real world and are again stuck with your body in space. But as you are human and it is only you there, later or sooner you will again feel loneliness and humdrum. Now, as soon as you start feeling monotonous you seek somebody approaching you, Ah! Okay, you got a companion. But again you come back to the physical world.

Hoh Hah! This cycle goes on….

We are humans, we have some needs, we need companions, and we require the warmth of others. But there is a difference between need and necessity. We all need these kinds of stuff, but they are not as necessary as we think they are. We spend lots of time finding someone to share our feelings with and create some happy moments.

I agree, we need someone. No one can survive without help in this world, it is a fact. Sharing pain is relieving.

But what if you don't have anyone to share with? This is what we call ‘loneliness’, an alone body, begging for help but no one is there. What should you do in this condition? In this condition, you have to be brave, a lone wolf.

If you are alone, then it is OK, not just OK but fantastic. You are not a lone body begging for help, you may think it is a crisis but nah! it is a ladder, a ladder to conquer yourself, explore yourself, and be a better version of yourself.

Being alone is the place where innovative ideas are born. It’s serene, it’s peaceful. You have all the time for yourself. You become stronger, more independent, and more flexible. If you have any pain but there is no need to share it, just share it with yourself. Is there any need to live with that pain, No! the only need is learning, learning from everything happening around you.

Being alone and lonely is like floating in space, enjoying unwanted freedom and peace, free from an external force, in a tranquil space taking the warmth of eternity. But if still, your life becomes monotonous then what will you do? Yeah most of us will go and find the right companion but find chaos. Because you don't have to find it, it will come to you by itself.

Go back to that imaginative story above, when you were in space and your life became monotonous you got a companion by itself, why? The answer lies in simple physics or natural law, that mass attracts each other (Newton's law of gravitation). You both were floating in space but always attracted by each other and then you meet up.

It also happens in real life, because it is a natural law, you don't have to choose or find. Be what you are, and enjoy your loneliness like you are floating in space and when the right time comes you will get a companion, before that use your loneliness as a ladder.

Creating happy moments with someone is so beautiful and soothing, this thing can't be ignored. If you have someone then it is wonderful. And if you don't have anyone, then loneliness is there. Hmm.....well, more technically there is no absolute loneliness, it is always relative and in comparison to others (theory of relativity :).

Concluding, as you are my companion, I must recommend a movie about loneliness named "Her" starring Joaquin Phoenix, watch it.

Take care and enjoy that loneliness✨

Let’s catch up in the next one….. and suggest some topics you would love me to write for you in the comment section, I am always open to considering them and will be more than happy \^o^/ …
