As, A dietician I met many people who wants to lose weight but there are lots and lots of questions which cause they get confused totally . Few days back I meet a client They are continously asking does keto work? , How much time it will take to work? In a month how much weight I will lose? It will be possible to lose 20kg in a month ? Does teenagers can start a keto diet?

I thought it is very important to understand what is keto diet and how it works what things we need to remember when we are on a weight loss journey and Some important tips which will help you a lot in weight loss.

Keto diet: The ketogenic diet, commonly known as the keto diet, is a low-carb, high-fat diet that has gained popularity in recent years for its potential to aid weight loss. So, to answer your question, yes, the keto diet can be an effective tool for weight loss.

How does the keto diet work for weight loss?

The key to the keto diet's weight loss benefits lies in its ability to put your body into a state of ketosis. Ketosis is a metabolic state in which your body burns fat for energy instead of glucose (sugar). When you limit your intake of carbohydrates, your body has no choice but to burn fat for fuel. As a result, you lose weight.

How do you use the keto diet for weight loss?

If you're interested in trying the keto diet for weight loss, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

As I said earlier in the keto diet people take low carbs and adequate carbohydrate is very important for energy and overall body development for teenagers.

A teen's body needs a variety of nutrients for growth and as with a restrictive diet, it might cause deficiencies of vitamins and minerals.
