My Own Medium Story Made Me an Active Vocal Writer

My rise to Vocal Media

A while ago I started writing in Vocal Media. And I made about three posts, but I couldn't reconcile my time with all the other platforms I write for, including my freelance work. I was totally out of time. But in the last few days, I've been thinking about how I would make 2021 a more productive year and bet on a more active career as a full-time writer.

"That's when I thought, why not get more active in Vocal Media?"

Becoming a more interactive Vocal Writer

I was being selfish leaving the Vocal Media aside. Knowing that one of the stories I wrote in Medium about Vocal Media has earned me more than $12 to date. A story that continues to earn me money to this day and is on the list of the most read Medium stories in my Medium account. I thought to myself, I am not seeing what is happening in front of me. Because if this story every month doesn't go by without making money since it was published, it means that there are a lot of people looking to know more about the Vocal and they are going to write actively there. Why am I falling behind if my own story about the Vocal is proving to me that I am losing chances?

I wasn't realizing it, but I was losing great chances to grow on a platform that is constantly growing. If I bet on it from the first day, I believe I would be halfway there as a writer inside the Vocal platform.

"We lost great chances to grow in some places, all because we think it's not worth just to go ahead".

Many writers like me need to rethink their ways of looking at things and especially by platforms like the Vocal. That can provide a giant growth in the writer's career.

That's why I've taken a stand and started to write actively in the Vocal and my stats are beginning to change course without even promoting any stories. This shows how powerful the Vocal platform is, as thousands of important writers who write on other platforms have begun to actively write on the Vocal.

Writers like Zulie Rane, Anangsha Alammyan, Aamir Kamal, Agnes Laurens, are all actively writing on the Vocal Media and are getting along just as well if they got along in the Medium. In other words, there is a very giant audience inside the Vocal platform. Not to mention that the Vocal has been calling writers' attention because of the many contests that are launched monthly to help creators leverage their content at other levels.

Now I'm actively in the Vocal, because of my own story that got 4 hours of reading time and has earned me so far $14. It's not much, but it's not easy to make $14 with a story, even more, when it comes to convincing readers.

Vocal Media is amazing, many are making large amounts of viewing, reading, and even better making money through the Vocal partner program. The platform is becoming a home for me, and I will strive not to waste too much time without posting to continue growing on the platform. It is very simple to grow on the Vocal, because of the Vocal curatorship which is very robust and peculiar, because it allows all the stories published on the platform to pass first through the curatorship and then be distributed on topics. This is perhaps one of the best parts of the Vocal.

To go through the curatorship before and only after be distributed in topics. It can be difficult for those who are not used to dealing with a lot of letters, vocabulary, and grammar. But this option of Vocal curating is the best way to help creators to be noticed by the platform, so no writer is unknown because all are distributed in topics.

If the Vocal is a platform built specifically to support, discover, and reward the creators. Then they are making the platform a beautiful place for writers. Perhaps the biggest difficulty for writers is just the way the Vocal monetizes stories. I particularly think there should be a team meeting to adjust and think about writers because getting $3.80 per thousand views is very laborious especially for members who are just starting. But it is establishing itself in a very comprehensive and well-directed way. I hope to see her grow much more and make many other authors attracted to the platform and have more sources.

If you are doing something somewhere and have stopped because you feel there are no possibilities to maybe grow or move on with your career. Think twice, because there is a great chance for change and time is running in your favor.
