President Biden further said “I had a bad night. The fact of the matter is that I screwed up. I made mistakes.”

A Milwaukee, Wisconsin radio interview with President Joe Biden left the audience in astonishment following an acknowledgment of guilt from the President, stating he “screwed up” during last week's Presidential debate with former President Donald Trump. President Biden further said “I had a bad night. The fact of the matter is that I screwed up. I made mistakes.” Biden pledged he would win the upcoming Presidential election as he plans to visit Wisconsin on Friday. As the interview ended, Biden said “When you get knocked down, you just get back up. I didn’t have a good debate, that’s 90 minutes on stage, look at what I’ve done in 3.5 years.” The interview with Radio Show host, Ingram was the first comment from President Biden since the debate last week that left audience members with questions regarding Biden’s plans to stay in the Presidential race, his age and called for Democrats to ask to have Biden substituted in the Presidential race.

Biden pointed out his efforts to not only lower pharmaceutical drug prices in America but also the handling of the coronavirus pandemic and the jobs created during his presidency. Biden said, “I am proud to be running for reelection as a President who has made promises and I’ve kept them.” Biden hinted at his recent investments for the Black communities in Wisconsin and patted himself on the back for appointing Black judges when he said “I picked a Black woman to be my vice president. I’ve appointed the first Black woman to be a Supreme Court Justice. I’ve appointed more Black Judges; more Black women Judges than every other President in American history combined.”

Biden went on to attack Trump regarding comments the former President made about Black workers, saying “to help the Black community and give people a shot. Trump did not do anything. This is the guy who questioned George Floyd’s humanity and led the birther movement against Barack Obama. This is the guy who said Barack Obama, that Black guy, he wasn’t born in America. And he kept it going lying like hell.” Biden added, “I’m sorry to get so worked up, but he is just- he’s done terrible things in the community, and he has about as much interest and concern for Black, minority communities as the man on the moon does.”

President Biden has visited the State of Wisconsin four times in the past six months and participated in one pre-recorded interview in Milwaukee to talk straight to his Black voters. Biden intends to make a trip to Madison, Wisconsin this upcoming Friday. However, former President Trump has only visited the State of Wisconsin three times but, unlike Biden, Trump partook in several interviews. One interview was with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in May. This interview was on the heels of a long-awaited trial against Trump accused of 34 felony counts in a hush-money case. Trump was convicted last month on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Trump's felony conviction left quite a few questions regarding his ability to run for President however, the criteria for running for President does not declare that one cannot have any felonies or criminal record to be President, suggesting that even though the Former President is a convicted felon, that will not stop him from becoming president for a second time.
