Dreams do come true

Do dreams actually come true?

Why are they called dreams;

when dreams are actually our future reality?

I believe that dreams do come true, and if you can dream it, then it can become a reality one day.

Right. Now in this moment, I am living in one of my greatest dreams. Something I always craved but never quite knew how it would be possible to achieve, for many reasons;

The first reason was fear, this dream required me to go off my given life path all alone and venture far away.

The second reason, financial capability, as in our current society money and financial freedom play a large part in what deemed achievable.

Finally the third reason, was this dream even possible?

And to that I say yes,

Yes, any dream is possible if you make it possible.

I know that is a very loaded statement to say but I firmly believe that each one of us are the creators of our own reality, and yes tho it might seem challenging and impossible to break out of the social norms and expectations. Doesn’t mean it is impossible.

I started to think my dreams were not achievable due to society telling me I need x amount of money, or I need this, or I need that, and so on.

But in reality I really didn’t need such.

How do I know this?

We’ll I decided to try and reach my dreams without such standards. I took a risk, I worked against those ideals, and most importantly I had to become brave.

Brave in the way of just letting go and allowing for whatever is meant to be, to simply be.

And sitting here now,

I’m so thankful I took these risks, I challenged societies expectations, and took my dreams into my own hands and started to create the reality I wanted and wished for, for myself.

And I know, by now you are probably thinking okay just tell me what these dreams were, stop being vague and get on with it, lol ..

.. those details will come later, but for now, I think the most important message of this story is;

Nothing is impossible,

dreams are dreams for a reason,

You hold the power to make whatever dream a reality.

Yes, it will be challenging. You will struggle at times.

But. I believe that’s how to achieve the greatest things in life.

Challenge will reward you in the end with the greatest gifts.

And in the end, those greatest gifts can be achieving your dreams.

Finally, taking a moment to breath and realizing,,,,

wow, I did that , I made this possible.

I am currently living in a past version of myselfs dream.

And that, for me, is what life is worth living for.

Living to chase our craziest wildest dreams. Fight the social norms and follow your heart, and never letting yourself believe that a dream is too big to achieve.

To me, that is the one luxury in life.

To be free.

So, by now, one may be wondering, what dream came true for me. And why am I writing about dreams coming true.

Well, that’s simple. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of traveling the world. Exploring Mother Nature and all the beautiful landscapes she has to offer. Creating a life of adventure and exploration. Surrounding myself with animals and the natural world. To feel free. To swim in rivers, lakes, and oceans. To hike and climb mountains. To discover the peace within our surrounding environments, while being able to escape the noise of everyday society.

And, today as I sit here, I really feel like my dreams are coming true.

Over the past three years, I’ve pushed the boundaries of society, I went against social expectation and norms and began my chapter of exploration and adventure.

I don’t think I’d be here today if I didn’t pushed myself out of my comfort zone. If I didn’t believe in my dreams, and if I didn’t dream these dreams.

Now to me, this crazy dream life i once envisioned of adventure and exploration is becoming more a reality each day.

For that, I am thankful.

Thankful for the dream. Thankful for the adventures. Thankful for the support. Thankful for every day.

So, with that, I’d say;

dreams do come true.
