Try it out

If you clicked on this article, you're probably a YouTuber trying to get subscribers. You may not even be a small YouTuber- maybe you have hundreds of thousands of views, but no matter how many views your videos get, your subscriber count never goes up any more. Perhaps you want to be able to make polls on your channel. Perhaps you want to monetize your channel. Whatever your motivation may be, in this article I will give you tips to help you reach your goal.

1. Use sites like Promolta or Prodvigate to promote your videos, and be sure to choose "SUBSCRIBERS" next to the "BESIDES VIEWS, I ALSO WANT" option.

2. Don't tell people to subscribe. It may seem counter-productive, but people don't like being told what to do. People are more likely to subscribe if you don't ask them to.

3. Don't use a watermark. Watermarks are annoying, and people are going to appreciate your channel more if you don't use 1.

4. If you've never made a video with your face in it, include your face in your profile picture. If you're getting hundreds and thousands of views, and not many subscribers, the problem could be that nobody knows who you are.

5. Join YouTube Sub4Sub groups on FaceBook. They work surprisingly well.

6. Make sure to have a catchy channel banner. People who visit your channel are more likely to subscribe if they like the channel art.

7. Make a channel trailer. These help, too.

8. Describe your channel in the About section.

9. Reply to a lot of comments. It's not uncommon for people to check out the channels of the people replying to them.
