Is Ryan Anderson the father of Gypsy Rose's baby?

Divorce from husband, Ryan is put on hold following the pregnancy announcement that has the world talking.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is gracing the headlines all over social media and prominent news outlets following her release from the Chillicothe Correctional Facility located in Northwest Missouri on December 28, 2023, where she served just eight out of the ten years she was sentenced to following a conviction of second-degree murder in connection with the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. These headlines have strayed away from Gypsy's prison stay and have sparked up controversy regarding an announcement she made via YouTube. Gypsy sat down with ABC's Juju Chang for her first publicized interview since revealing on her YouTube channel earlier this month that she and Ken were expecting their first baby and she was 11 weeks pregnant to address the comments and concerns regarding her pregnancy. Gypsy has found herself in the middle of divorce following the split from her husband, Ryan Anderson in early April stating that Ryan was jealous of her relationship with her father, Ron.

Many Gypsy fans have questioned if the baby could be Ryan’s and what Ryan’s reaction was to the pregnancy. Gypsy promptly responded, “This is absolutely 100 percent Ken’s baby.” Ken Urker, the former fiancé of Gypsy, rekindled the romance with the Mommy dead and dearest star around April, the same month divorce papers were filed between Gypsy and Ryan. Ryan Anderson married Gypsy in 2022 while incarcerated for her role in her mother’s murder. However, Gypsy stated that she left her husband, Ryan, in March, meaning there was “never any question of paternity.” Ryan’s reaction to the pregnancy was in question. However, Gypsy told Chang that “she wishes him the best emotionally.” The 32-year-old reality star said having a healthy pregnancy is her top priority as a first-time mother. Stating that her child will never have to go through what her mother put her through, suffering years of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, otherwise known as Factitious Disorder, imposed on another.

Gypsy acknowledged that people will “question whether she should be a mom herself after her criminal history,” however, Gypsy insisted that she knows “right from wrong.” Further stating that “she’s given thought to the day her child will inquire about her childhood and criminal history. However, Gypsy told Chang that “She and Urker will sit down with them and explain it in the most honest way possible.” At the tail end of the interview, Gypsy said that the moment she tells her child about her criminal record and the reason why her grandmother isn’t around, as well as every other moment in the baby’s life “Will not be shared with the world. Saying “this word is so cruel and unsafe that there is a level of responsibility that I have to make sure that my child is protected.” Regardless of her online presence on social media and being a face in the public eye since her release from prison. Gypsy’s final comment stated, “I think everything has been very hyped up, and I’ve had wonderful opportunities, but I don’t see those lasting, and I think there comes a time where I have to make a choice. And that is, when do I say enough is enough? And I think after so long of having my name in the spotlight, that time is coming soon.”
