It's fun but tricky

The claw machine is a tricky game where you put in requested currency to be able to play and try to win a prize. Sounds simple, right? Guess again, The claw machine has to be one of the most challenging games because it requires you to be exact in your decision to drop the claw. Almost wherever you go, there are claw machines with fantastic prizes.

- Gift cards

- Gaming consoles or accessories

- Plush toys

- Action figures

- The list goes on.

But in this day and age, and thanks to technology and social media, I came across an app on my phone called Clawee. I was interested in many of the prizes. But just like a physical claw machine you had to play with digital coins. Some coins weren’t that pricey. You could get a certain amount for $5.99. But be aware that some prizes are hard to catch, just like in real claw machines. You will miss a few times while grabbing the prizes and losing coins, so the creators of Clawee developed a way to use the claw machine without losing money. They created a way to play with free Keys. Sure, it is a great way to win the prizes fast and efficiently, but if you want the prize, you have to pay the shipping fee, which isn’t cheap.

It ranges from different prices depending on the award. For example, I won an Iron Man action figure, and the shipping price was $35. I could have let it go because after winning a game with keys, if you don’t claim it, it will be removed from your account within five days, and you won’t get your keys back, but if you win with coins. You get the shipping for free.

Clawee’s prizes are exciting, with so many to choose from. They have something for everyone, from the action figure collectors to the stay-at-home mom with a taste for décor.

- Character nightlights

- Pokemon plush/figurines

- Building blocks

• Animation characters

• Famous landmarks

• Vehicle models.

-

Here is one thing I like about Clawee: this game has a feature where you can exchange it for coins if you win a prize. That way, you don’t have to keep buying coins. There are seven levels, and prizes range on those levels.

From level one:

- Costume jewelry

- Animated Key cover characters

- Micro plush toys

And then there is level seven:

- Anime Action Figure

- Legos

- Large collectible plush toys.

- …You get the picture.

However, if you expect the prizes to arrive quickly, I hate to burst your bubble, but it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks for your stuff to arrive. And Clawee doesn’t send your prizes in a box. They are shipped in a bag that is heavily wrapped in bubble wrap. So, the action figures don’t come with their original boxes; you have to inform the staff if they can include them.

If you need ideas or suggestions for prizes for parties, birthday gifts, or getting a head start on Christmas presents. Suppose you don’t want to go to the stores or just want to kill time while waiting for appointments or are bored out of your mind. In that case, they play Clawee, but a heads up on some of the prizes: some items may look big or expensive, like the rings I won; I’ll be honest: the picture looked natural diamonds and gold. But thanks to technology, you can turn plastic into something else…say, a diamond ring? I took the rings I won to a pawn shop to see if they were of any value; the employee named Mat (That is his name) used a Dual Tester Diamond and Moissanite Jewelry tool, which was able to pinpoint what the rings were.

- The rings were fake

- The diamonds had zero value

- Basically, the rings were a child's toy.

Before you conclude, I wasn’t trying to get rich, and I am sure Clawee wasn’t either because they would put real gold or diamonds. I won the items because they come in handy when props in Film and photography can be used instead of losing or damaging the authentic expensive item. I donated the rings to a film school. But I kept a few action figures and plushies for myself because I’m a nerd and gave some to friends and families as gifts.
