The Bold and the Beautiful shocker: Thomas is engaged to Paris

Is this real or a stunt?

On Friday, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) returned to LA on The Bold and the Beautiful. He had Douglas Forrester ( Henry Joseph Samiri) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) with him. Paris has not been seen since the fashion competition between Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).

A Monday preview shows Thomas telling Ridge he is engaged to Paris, and she is showing off a massive rock for an engagement ring. B&BH fans know Thomas was about to marry Zoe Buckingham (Kia Barnes) in an attempt to make Hope Logan (Anikka Noelle) jealous. This is why many fans are having difficulty believing that Thomas and Paris are a real couple.

Will Diamond White be a victim of racism?

Some fans wonder if the duo is legit and if they will receive hate mail and racist comments as Tabyana Ali has on General Hospital. Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt Westbourne), and Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) have shared that they have been the recipients of online bullying. Still, GH execs gave a public statement about not tolerating racism, where Ali, who is black, was concerned.

Some fans believe it's because she was paired with Nicholas Chaves (Spencer Cassadine), who is white. Now, she might enter a relationship with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). All four actresses have given statements about online bullies, but the hate continues.

Now, some viewers wonder if Chaves is not returning to his role as Spencer because he may also have been the victim of haters. Hopefully, if Thomas and Paris are in love, they will be accepted by B&B fans, and those who disagree will not lash out from behind screens.

De Ja Vu

Thomas only loved and was obsessed with Hope, but perhaps during his time in Paris, he and Ms. Buckingham became closer. It will take a lot for anyone on or off screen to believe this is real. The other issue is that there was never an official breakup between Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz ) and Paris on screen, which makes this more awkward.

Out of nowhere, he was lusting after Luna Nazawa (Lisa Yamada) even though she was dating his cousin RJ Forrester ( Joshua Hoffman). B&B fans are saying this feels like deja vu, and the same old storyline is playing out again.

Thomas and Paris must work hard to convince everyone they are a real couple. No one will believe that Thomas got over Hope in a matter of months after loving her for so long. Of course, it's possible that Hope hurt him so severely that Thomas finally opened his eyes to the truth. It will be interesting to watch this play out, and although many fans do not believe Thomas is in love with Paris, he might be.

Is everything as it seems?

Douglas, in the picture with Ms. Buckingham and his dad, looks like they are a family, suggesting he is OK with the relationship. But is everything as it seems? How will Hope feel about Paris being a stepmom to her adopted son? How will Ridge react, and what will be his wife's response?

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will be happy that her son-in-law is no longer interested in her daughter. Still, Hope is falling for John Finnegan (Tanner Novlin), who is married to Steffy Finn ( Jackie Wood). Many fans of The Bold and the Beautiful say this appears to be a big mess that will cause many hurt feelings. Be sure you keep tuning in to find out how this will resolve itself.
