GEMINIS

The world needs Geminis. Although funny, kind, social, friendly, and generous, a great way to describe the Gemini zodiac sign is by definition, a tropical thunderstorm. Just like its forecast, Geminis are beautiful, mutable and complex beings with everything in between.

As the third astrological sign, Geminis possess all qualities and attributes, using whichever fits, depending on their circumstances in life at the time.

When engaged -intriguing and loving to be intrigued- it comes quite natural for them to adapt to their surroundings, thus making them capable of entertaining an entire room while grasping requited love from others in their midst as the center of attention. They have the power to influence on a universal level and their creative tactics produce satisfying results to their weather plans. Others may be lost in the passion behind a Gemini’s forecast, but they have it all mapped out from the beginning and middle, to the end. At times, such a contradiction and most of all irony to itself, the beautiful, butterflied twin, encompasses “The Tripartide” nature of the world as heaven, earth, and waters. The earth is an open field and playground for Gemini’s deadly storm filled with both beautiful bolts of lightning and terrifying thunder. This Triad further contains all parts of the world including energies of both good and evil. The twins within know when and which one to tap into for their advantage. Not everything about a tropical storm is bad. Although powerful, intense, intriguing, and dangerous it is also alluring and beneficial as an important water source to lessen droughts, and recharges the underground aquifers.

As a hot tempered, intense, and emotional being, Geminis can create magnetic waves of power, peace, respect, vital innovations, and or destruction. Just take the late and great Tupac Shakur, or Kanye West. Although we have his impactful lyrics and classic music, Tupac would have probably excelled even further as activists or civil rights influencer. His actions lead to his demise and he was sadly taken from us, leaving us without an opportunity to see his full potential of greatness. Kanye is just amazing. His ability to tread through all his controversy and still find a way to be a billionaire. Although he’s lost respect with "some in the black community," his wife, and his big brother Sean Carter (A.K.A. JAYZ), the man has the brain and action to outsmart us all. If he won the presidential election, I believe he would have found a way to provide better education in low-income schools and give black people back their “forty acres.” ("All Falls Down" lyrics)

The other beautiful quality of the Gemini is that they are often referred to as the lovers or twin flames. The Gemini in my eyes is seen as free-flowing, cool, but not the typical monogamous relationships person. A relationship for them is typical, and they have no issues with being single, friends with benefits, or flings. Making love with a Gemini can be a rainstorm filled with magic and sparks, but the big question is, will it last? Their good loving and multiple people can cause chaos with other parties.

The twin flame concept is just a term used to describe opposites that attract and somehow benefit one another to their highest degree of self. For instance, the good twin might be seen as the benefits provided by the excess of water, while the bad twin is seen as damage to the buildings and homes as a result of the storm.

As a fellow air sign accomplice, I have nothing horrendous to share about Geminis, only unfavorable things. Although I am fortunate to not have been a witness to their thunderbolts or rapid floods, I have seen the sneaky two-faced twins inappropriately in action. Smiles and kindness of their beautiful tropical forest are the known and shown, but their playful trickster side of the hidden forest is the unknown. And when the storm comes, you never knew it was coming. Because of all the beauty they provide and give while during their dirt, it makes them hard to hate. This is not meant to be disrespectful to the zodiac sign, but I witnessed a Gemini befriend a person, and was sleeping with their man right underneath the person’s nose. The audacity!!!! Plus, they are no strangers to drugs, or participating in daring outgoing things. The most important thing to remember and take note of is not to mess with a Gemini, for they will gladly beat your a$$. It can be on the job, at the bar, courthouse, or children’s playground. They don’t care. All is fair in love and war. Or should I say in love and storm. Either way, both can be deadly.

I really do like these people. My favorite things about them are their honesty, fearlessness, wit, intelligence, communication skills, their hilarious verbal altercation superior champion complexes, great "workeraholics," accomplished creative detailed thoughts and forecasts. They are very down to earth, can get along with all walks of life, have a variety of passions, hobbies, careers, and friend groups. They turn up during happy hours, dinner parties, and break the dance floors with their confident attitude and talented moves. They are usually greatly involved responsible part-time mothers. (And oh, don’t mess with their children either.)

Geminis are futuristic people. They always acquire the latest, best, fashionable, and expensive things. They love to be around celebrities, travel, live above their means, and are high maintenance. When Geminis focus in on their talents, they are innovators, and have humanitarian qualities that can make the world a better place.

We are in Gemini season at the moment. It is also mercury retrograde. Mercury retrograde is when energies within the universe have a created a sort of disconnect with one another and so all forms of communication will be hard to come by during this time. Where this is a season people should be reconnecting in love, karma might have it where there is disconnect, chaos, frustration, and confusion in the air.

Luckily, I’m feeling comfortable with this climate. When I’m around a Gemini, I prepare myself for their weather.
