It's a date!

Please set aside July 10th for a fantastic picnic in the park.

There is just one detail you need to remember -- teddy bears are required.

Victoria Park has been the site of the annual ursine gathering for seventeen years and this year's event should be the best one yet.

The morning starts with tea and crumpets, the favoured treats of teddies worldwide. Have your fluffy friend ready for 10 a.m. There will be space for 60 bears and their companions, reservations are recommended.

At 11:00, our parade of participants will leave from the pavilion in the centre of the park. Our organizers will be easy to spot -- look for the beehive flags that mark the sign-up tent. Everyone is invited to walk the route with their teddy bears.

Lunch will be available from local food trucks. We are lucky to have Sweets & Treats, Berries Are Best, and Sassy Salmon on site to satisfy your rumbly tummy. And don't forget to pick up your sample bag from Hunnycakes, the best scones in the four cities.

Later in the afternoon, your teddy can join in a rousing game of outdoor checkers, play croquet, try lawn bowling, paint a portrait of your favourite friend, or step onto the stage and take a part in our play "Goldilocks Finds a Friend".

The closing event is a group picnic across from the gazebo. Baskets and blankets will be set out at 4:30. Menu selections are listed on our website, www.teddybearpicnic.com, and a small fee of $15 will be collected to cover the cost of the contents of each basket.

The evening's wrap-up will be a choreographed drone display, set to start at dusk. Cuddle up with your stuffed companion and enjoy the music and lights as the drones dance through the night sky.

Can't wait to see everyone there! Our website and social media pages need your content. Share your photos during and after the event. Let's make this Teddy Bear Picnic a smashing success!
