The story that made the beggar rich! The story that made the beggar rich!

The King was very kind and loved people a lot. He came to the country without any complaints to the people. But he has no faith in God.

On one occasion, he and the minister disguised themselves and went to the city to see how the people were doing.

As both of them were looking from place to place, they saw two beggars. In it, a beggar1 was taking alms by chanting the name of God. Another beggar 2 was taking alms by calling the king's name. Seeing this, the king looked at the minister and said, Minister! He asked which of these two beggars do you think is wiser.

Minister said that beggar1 who was taking alms by chanting the name of God. The king was shocked and said, "How do you say that?". Minister said that king if you know that Beggar is calling you by name then only it is useful to that beggar. But he said that God knows everything and that beggar1 situation will be changed by God.

The king refused to accept this and called the two beggars and asked them separately why they were begging in this way. To that the first beggar said that if I ask God someday my situation will change. The second beggar, if not for the king, this country would not be so prosperous. So because of the king, I will become rich someday.

Hearing this, the king went to the palace and made a statement that he was going to give gifts to everyone in the country at next week's festival. Days passed. The festival also came. Everyone in the country gathered to buy the gift. Those two beggars had come.

The king cleverly named the beggar2 and gifted him with cloth, gold and diamonds inside the pumpkin.

King rewarded the beggar 1 with a cloth and a pumpkin like the others. Days passed. The king said to the minister, let us go to the country and see the two beggars."

The minister went with the king thinking that the king was calling to convey something to us. After going some distance, the beggar 2 was begging in the same place, calling out the king's name. The king was shocked and went to him and asked him what he had done with the pumpkin that the king had given to him and why he was still begging.

And the beggar 2 said, what am I going to do with that pumpkin? He said that he sold it for five cents.

Hearing this, the king, with great anger, said, "You fool! I put gold and diamonds inside the pumpkin which I gave you. The minister kept watching everything that was happening without speaking.

After going some distance, the king was shocked. That was because the beggar 1 who was taking alms by chanting the name of God had become extremely wealthy.

The king called him and asked him how he became rich.

Beggar 1 said, Every year I cook and donate pumpkin to my father on his memorial day.

So this year the pumpkin I bought for five cents had lots of gold and diamonds in it.

That's why I became rich. He said that everything is God's mercy. The minister who spoke then, king! Whatever God wants to give to whomever, it will happen. God made the king to see them to make beggar 1 rich. God had done what god thought. King felt that it was true.

King understood that what God thinks will happen. From that day the king became a devotee of God.

Moral of the story!

Karma is the reason for the joys and sorrows we experience in life. But God is the one who gives what we need at the right time and to whom. Don't worry if you are suffering today, God will lift you at the right time.
