Synopsis

By Favour Victor Published about a month ago 1 min read

Synopsis: In a world where memories can be implanted, edited, and even stolen, a young woman named Maya discovers that her last memory of her deceased loved one is being threatened. She must navigate a complex web of memory thieves and black marketeers to protect her most precious recollection.

Chapter 1

Maya's eyes fluttered open, her mind foggy from the procedure. She tried to remember what had happened, but her thoughts were hazy. A faint smile crept onto her lips as she recalled the memory she had just implanted – a perfect day at the beach with her loved one, Jack.

But as she sat up, a sudden panic set in. Where was Jack? She looked around the dimly lit room, her heart racing. And then, it hit her – Jack was gone. He had passed away a year ago.

Maya's memories of Jack were all she had left, and she had just implanted the last one. But as she tried to hold onto it, she realized that something was off. The memory felt... different.

A message flashed on her comms device – "Meet me at Club Europa tonight. Come alone." It was from a mysterious stranger who claimed to have information about her memories.

Maya's search for answers led her down a dangerous path of memory thieves and black marketeers. She discovered that her memories were not her own, and that someone was trying to steal her last recollection of Jack.

With the help of an underground memory keeper, Maya fought to protect her memories and uncover the truth about Jack's death. But as she delved deeper, she realized that the line between reality and implanted memories was thinning.

And the last memory she had of Jack was fading fast.

Will Maya be able to hold onto her most precious recollection, or will it be lost forever?
