The Great Show

The sound of tolling bells and cheering crowds could be heard for miles around.

The arena contained thousands of joyful people, simply waiting for the show to begin. Participants stood in rows at the middle of the arena, stretching and warming up for what was yet to come. A monstrous obstacle course was set off to the left; the main event. Men selling goods walked between the rows of people with their carts, making quick money before the show began. Suddenly, a trumpet blew at the top of the arena, and the words announced were clear;

“Let the games begin!”
