A Case Study

By Isaiah Black Published 3 years ago 4 min read

My Sweet Doe Kjyka,

I’m a dentist, ok?! That’s many years of college. Many dollars out of pocket, ya hear me?? I’ve spent too many days hunched over the mouths of people who stuff ‘em full of disease so they can feel like they have the cure to the sickness of dying since birth. Lemme tell ya: the American Dream Option is a fricken joke. I hate my job but I love what I do, mien Reh (sigh)…

I’ve saved some of the rejects, and will use the extra bits of amalgam I extracted to add to my blood pledge. I almost have enough to melt it all down and make a locket for us. I love you! In my soul’s passion, with the simplicity of a child’s smile, yet the complexity of the ocean’s calling, I feel and I know you are more valuable than anything I could ever govern to supply.

It doesn’t matter if I don’t eat — I don’t have a curfew; I can catch a bite later. My money’s funny anyways. Listen, I don’t have time to be your bait in a conversation about my habits. It’s enough that you’re always staring at me. It’s more than enough that you still gawk at me whenever I’m around, even after Kataklyst! I can’t reciprocate that kind of love. I’m not enough.

But what about you?! The touch that used to light you up each evening now embarrasses me. My love is warm. You are aloof. They did this to everyone, and yet you are solitary in your catatonia. Is it catharsis for you, to be so austere? Nature is your vantage point, now you have become a totem. I’d wish upon your graces if only I was more lethargic, like Ravenna was.

You’ve given me parts of yourself, and I have never been hungry. Your sacrifice for this family, for this purpose even!! You are a testament to the history of legacy that our blood has carried through the generations. We are not alone. I can understand this, now that the reckoning has given me the light from beyond the terrestri. You, my kin, are sacrosanct!

How can you stand me?! Are you playing some game with me?! There’s not enough in me to eject you and convert because you still treat me like it’s the last time you’ll ever see me. I can’t do that! I can only extract bits of used Amal10, smelt them, fashion them into this locket with filigree and initials, then add the prints I took from you — the ones that make me sad.

Yet, I touch your hand. Cold. Your body embalmed. Our home is now a catacomb. When I say prayers, you are nearby me always. In me. I can speak to you like this, and I will make you proud soon, before I’m frozen in time like you, my precious Suddenly. You were culled by your own bloodlust in the heart of your obsession with me. Honored, I now consume you.

I am not afraid of being one anymore.

Give me all of you.

There’s no more future after they ran out of prophecy.

I give you all of me.

Dearest Doe, my sweetest of operose fauna.

Ashes to ashes, dust et. al.

There’s more to life than life and death and bodies.

There’s us, and a little locket…

With All Your Strong Hart’s Passion,

Guillemot

Apprentice Pathologist Annotation

This auxiliary entry appears to be an emotion-based letter from the subject, Davins Wjīllÿem Orkan Rubeschendsk (pseudonym as “Guillemot”). While it cannot be used as any kind of basis for supplementary analysis material pursuant to court order 517.213.9a, it can serve to identify possible causes for trace material found in the subject’s remains following decease.

DNA collected from the subject’s cardiac tissue, intestinal lining, and fecal matter produced two distinct variations of genomic profile. Cardiac tissue and intestinal lining appear to have identical profiles, which match the sample of DNA on file for the subject. DNA from the fecal matter matches genomic profile information for one Kjyrgüllieka Chūbanīk Rubeschendsk.

It cannot be identified whether the fingernail material found embedded in the subject’s upper left temple match those of the second individual, since fingers were missing from second individual’s remains. However, fingernail DNA is consistent with that of K. Rubeschendsk.

In closing, my final analysis remains consistent with initial predications. Cause of death finally determined to be consistent with forensic findings of asphyxiation vis a vis necktie implement securing cardiac shaped amalgam locket embedded in the suprasternal notch of the subject. Wounds appear to be self-inflicted — exception being the nail marks in the subject’s temple.

Personal Accountability Imperative

I am a Rubik’s Forty Empath and a Myer’s Fortune InTpYJ, with cognitive enhancements to parietal sequencing from the Dr. Fortune Genomic Redoubt. My emotions are stable, and have remained nominal for 117 lunar seasons. I have no kin relation to the subject nor to the second individual. My national affiliation is native to the second individual, but not to the subject.

The imagery of removing filling material from dental cavities recalls memories from before Kataklyst. Dentistry had not yet been replaced by quantum scan manufaction sequencing. I recalled pain from a tooth extraction. I recalled a putrid scent. I recalled wanting to make a charm with the tooth. I have no attachments to these memories - Purged (ref#: log25.683).

After reading the case notes on the two individuals, I was emotionally unstable for approximately 17.26 seconds (MKG standard time accounting | Parasynthē brand wrist device capture). This aberration was found in the proto-parasympathetic vagus, mark 9. Correction made, and emotive capture archived in The Well of Ambition, Hirta Annals (ref#: log25.783).

The above statements are coded in accordance with The Interkinational Agreement, pledge docket ref# 45.2025.7.17.cd (Section 3:4 Remains Accountability & Section 3:25 Pathologist Psychogen Eval Accountability ). I testify with Hfre.213 blood quantum that these statements represent reality as I have perceived it in this case. I now close my obligation to this task.

Signed With Blood Quantum Hfre.213,

Sīgmundø Hfręgnīakh, male gametes
