Snowflaking
Becoming a snowflake during a storm
The gala is coming. The air is charged, expectant. A cloud releasing newborn droplets’ - first and only flight. They won’t stop sashaying.
I wear my prettiest lace; its designs all my own.
Ooops! guiddy yup... up, up, and away. Spinning, twirling, dancing. And up, down, left, right...twirl, swirl, tumble, and flutter down, down, ahhhhhh.... And up once more! This is so much fun! Oh, a somersault! Yippie.
The excited tumbling of the first drop becomes the comfort of snowflaking. Where before I plummeted , I now hover. It is my time to sparkle and twinkle! Ah, the excitement, the dance.

Loved the idea of a newborn droplet. You’re very good with words and pairing them in an interesting way
I liked very much the first person ( 1st snowflake?) voice. I am curious why you changed it in the final paragraph... a wonderfully unique idea!
This is fabulous. Well done.
Oh, I LOVED this! The dance of a snowflake as it falls to the ground was such a great take on this challenge! So beautiful and joyful :)
Brilliant & beautiful!!!💖💖💕
